Vijay Nambi MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Staff Cardiologist at the Michael E DeBakey Veterans Affairs hospital and program director of the Lipids and Atherosclerosis Fellowship program. HIs clinical expertise is in the prevention of cardiovascular disease with a focus on lipids. His research has focussed on the use of biomarkers and imaging in cardiovascular risk stratification.
